Why I want to meet Charles de Lint
He’s my hero, and he lives in Ottawa. At this point, there’s absolutely no good reason at all why I haven’t gone up there and met him.

She’s funny, charming and her sardonic wit leaves me with such a firm mental imprint that I find myself thinking of her at the most random of times—in the market, when prostitutes are causing trouble, when I go out to eat with friends and see a wide array of culinary masterpieces that I’ve yet to master.
Besides, she promised me a recipe for butter tarts, and she never gave it to me. I figure that if I met her in person, I could beat it out of her (or make her laugh until she handed it over).
seems like a totally cool, conscious chick with a good head on her shoulders. Something I really admire in a person!
She’s hilarious, and sweet, and incredibly intelligent. She loves butter tarts, and thinks of me when she sees women of the night.
Also, she wants to have the world’s coolest wedding.
She had the guts to change her life completely, as far as I understood for love of someone else and of herself.
She’s my oldest scary stalk-y internet only type friend I have that I can still IM with 3 AM about what color some actress eyes were or weren’t in some black and white movie.
